Howdy!
Welcome to The Other Place Restaurant of Turah, MT. Formerly The Happy Bungalow, we have served the Turah/Clinton area since the late 1930s. It transferred ownership and became The Other Place Restaurant in 1992. The original structure was destroyed by fire in the late 1990s and was rebuilt the following year. The neon sign out front was rebuilt from the original 1930s sign and can be seen by travelers on I-90 today, just like it was "way back when."

The Other Place Restaurant is the perfect place for leisurely enjoyment in a comfortable atmosphere.
- Dinner. Don't trade the grind of the workplace for the heat of the kitchen. Bring your family and come in for a filling and easy dinner on the way home!
- Sports. Whether we cheer for the same team or not, join us for cheers, friendly faces, lively talk, and a cold drink while watching the game.
- Relaxation. Stop in solid meal and a ready ear to listen to your tales (even the tall ones!) before or after a day of hunting or fishing.
- Events. Plan your next banquet or reception at The Other Place, with a host or no-host bar, catered or uncatered event, inside or under the stars of our open air deck.
We're an easy drive to and from your favorite places and home spaces. Come on in for a spell and enjoy a little down home break from your normal routine.

We're Retiring!
As the Mousketeers sang it, "Now it's time to say goodbye..."
Actually, we're not so much saying goodbye as we're saying that it's time to retire and enjoy the best that Montana has to offer. Consequently, The Other Place Restaurant, its City of Missoula liquor license, and adjacent buildings and rentals are offered for sale, either in part or wholly.
